While this is our ninth year of research for the State of Community Management (SOCM), it is a lot of community practitioners’ first research rodeo. As we do every year, we have taken a look at some of the data that we’ve garnered from the first 100 or so survey participants and gotten a glimpse into who is taking our survey so far.
Age is just a number? Or is it?
You might be interested to know that over 50% of respondents launched their communities over the past three years. That means that more than half of the community practitioners that completed the survey are working with a young community.
That matches well with the fact that about 48% of those who have responded thus far have only been working in community management for between 0 and 3 years.
