
The Community Technology Summit is a one-day immersive learning experience for online community professionals. This all-inclusive experience will take place at Convene Boston on Wednesday, October 4, 2023.
This event is designed for community professionals working with all types of online communities - including customer or partner communities focused on support, product innovation, and marketing/brand awareness, and employee communities focused on innovation, collaboration, and communication.

What: The Community Technology Summit is a one-day immersive learning experience for online community professionals. While the Community Technology Summit is co-located with Connect 2023, you do not need to attend Connect to attend the Community Technology Summit.
Why: Launching, maintaining, migrating, and managing online communities can be overwhelming and, without an experienced team, can lead to expensive and time-consuming mistakes. Learn from solutions providers and online community professionals who have been in your shoes.
Who: Anyone responsible for launching, managing, and evolving online community initiatives. Community managers, project managers, stakeholders, IT professionals, and more are welcome!
Where: The Community Technology Summit is co-located with our annual community workshop, Connect 2023, in-person at Convene Boston, 201 Washington Street, Boston, MA. There is no virtual component to this event.
When: The Community Technology Summit will take place on Wednesday, October 4th from 9am-5pm, with a reception from 5:00-6:00pm.
AGENDA
The Community Technology Summit will feature interactive panels, demos, case studies, and practical sessions on evaluating and selecting community solutions, as well as migration best practices from leading community technology providers.
There will be ample time to network with fellow attendees and interact with the solutions organizations one on one.
Your pass includes breakfast, lunch, snacks, beverages, and an open-bar cocktail hour to network with peers and partners alike.
KEYNOTE - RICHARD MILLINGON, AUTHOR AND FOUNDER, FEVERBEE

Richard Millington has spent the past decade helping 250+ companies develop some of the world’s largest online communities.
Richard is the founder of FeverBee, an international community consultancy, and the author of Buzzing Communities. Richard’s clients have included Google, Facebook, Oracle, Wikipedia, EMC, Greenpeace, and many more. Prior to FeverBee, Richard interned with Seth Godin in New York.

COVID-19 POLICY
We encourage attendees to test the morning of the Community Technology Summit (10/4/23) and to not attend if they test positive or feel unwell. Masks are suggested in line with local and/or CDC guidance but are not mandated. Masks may be required during specific talks at the request of our speakers.
This policy is subject to change if the city of Boston and/or the Commonwealth of Massachusetts adopt stricter regulations.
