Podcast: Community Chat with Nancy White

April 17, 2014 By Jim Storer

By Shannon DiGregorio Abram, Relationship Manager at The Community Roundtable.

When we started thinking about ways to celebrate our five year anniversary we kept coming back to the idea of how community has changed in the last few years. A handful of of people have been early champions for community management, and one name that kept coming up in our discussions was Nancy White.

Nancy is the co-author of Digital Habitats: stewarding technology for communities and an international practitioner in understanding and practicing online group facilitation of distributed work, learning and community groups. She is has also been a long-time friend and supported of The Community Roundtable, so she was our first choice when thinking about a community veteran to chat with.

Jim and Rachel sat down with Nancy last month for a podcast that is part trip down memory lane, part retrospective and part look to the future. Enjoy the chat, and if you have any questions for Nancy you can leave them in the comments below.
