Every year we say the same thing – we are so, so lucky to spend our days learning from the amazing members of TheCR Network.
This year, in lieu of sending physical holiday cards, we’ve donated to three charities in the names of our members.
Founded in 1982, the Ounce of Prevention Fund invests in the healthy development of infants, children, adolescents and families through an innovative cycle of program implementation, research, training, policy analysis and advocacy in order to prevent physical, social and emotional problems later in life.
The Anita Borg Institute (ABI) seeks to increase the impact of women on all aspects of technology, and increase the positive impact of technology on the world’s women. Since 1997, ABI has developed tools and programs designed to help industry, academia and government recruit, retain and develop women technology leaders.
City Year’s mission is to build democracy through citizen service, civic leadership and social entrepreneurship. City Year helps students and schools succeed. Diverse teams of City Year AmeriCorps members provide support to students, classrooms and the whole school, helping to ensure that students in systemically under-resourced schools receive a high-quality education that prepares them with the skills and mindsets to thrive and contribute to their community.
