Meet TheCR Network Experts – Keeley, Jeff and Maria!

September 28, 2015 By Jim Storer

By Georgina Cannie, Community Fellow at The Community Roundtable

One of the most exciting and valuable aspects of TheCR Network is the regular Roundtable calls we organize for members. These calls are most often lead by distinguished industry experts and experienced community practitioners. It goes without saying that we love to boast about the amazing roster of guest speakers we host. Most recently, we have had the honor of partnering with:

KeeleyKeeley Sorokti is the Community Strategist and Assistant Director of Academic Services at Master of Science in Learning and Organizational Change Program at Northwestern University. (Quite the title, eh?) Keeley is a connector and a builder with a wide background that includes for-profit, non-profit and higher education. And her superpower? Identifying knowledge gaps. She works to draw attention to leaning and development as an area of focus for organizations using enterprise social networks.

JeffMerrellKeeley’s partner in crime is Jeff Merrell. Jeff is the Associate Director for the Master of Science inLearning and Organizational Change Program at Northwestern University. His background lies at the intersection of business, technology and learning. Jeff is a seasoned community pro, having been among the first adopters of an enterprise learning management system. He specializes in idetifying, creating and maintaining unique learning environments for working professionals.

Keeley and Jeff shared their talents with TheCR Network members by leading a tandem Roundtable call on a The Inextricable Link Between Communities and Learning. In addition to being community experts, Keeley and Jeff are Champions of TheCR Network. Learn more about how our members benefit from the Champion program here.

Maria Varmazis is a Community Manager for Rapid7. She has an extensive MariaVarmazisbackground in content creation & development, corporate storytelling, and social media strategy. Maria works in B2B communities and is especially skilled in video production. Maria is the keeper of a fantastic blog that is chock-full of practical information and reviews for community management and content creation folks. She recently teamed up with TheCR Network to help host a members-only call about how to Survive a Platform Migration. ProTip: Maria will be attending our upcoming TheCR Connect event at the end of this month. Want some face time with this expert? Snag a seat the the event before they are gone!

Does it sound like we are bragging a bit? Guilty. It’s just so hard not to talk about the accomplishments of our distinguished guest speakers and the extraordinary value they bring to our members.
