By Hillary Boucher, Community Manager at The Community Roundtable
2016 is flying by! Can you believe we’re already two months in? How are your community plans for 2016 coming along?
Here’s a sneak peek into what’s been going on inside TheCR Network this past month:
- Facebook at Work: workin’ Harder or Hardly Workin’ (Roundtable Call): TheCR member Carrie Basham Young, has been following Facebook’s progress and recently reported her findings in a three part CMS Wire series. She also visited Facebook headquarters with a client a few weeks ago to learn more. In response to member interest, she helped facilitate a member call to discuss Facebook at Work as a potential enterprise solution. Carrie shared what she has learned so far and lead a member conversation on their thoughts, predictions and questions.
- The Critical Link Between Community & Customer Experience (Roundtable Call): On this call we identified, described and quantified the critical role community places within a company’s customer experience. Special guests and CXPA (Customer Experience Professionals Association) members Jeannie Walters and Annette Franz dove deeper into the principles of customer experience as they relate to community managers to both drive culture change and strengthen customer loyalty.
- State of Community Management (Survey and AMA): February was all about spreading the word about our annual research platform – The State of Community Management. To help members get the most of the research we had resident research expert Ted McEnroe host an AMA to address any and all member questions! Want to take the survey? It’s open to everyone!
Those are my big highlights for the month, but there’s not enough room to tell you about our active work out loud threads, discussions and other programs. If you are interested I hope you’ll join us!
