Save the Date – TheCR Connect 2017 is October 2-3 in Boston!

March 2, 2017 By Rachel Happe

We are thrilled to announce our third annual community management workshop – TheCR Connect, which will take place October 2-3, 2017 in Boston, MA.

TheCR Connect is a unique two-day workshop experience, unlike any event you’ve been to before, with an emphasis on building relationships and strengthing TheCR Network community. The two days are designed to constantly mix different learning approaches with opportunities to connect and includes tactical hands-on roundtables, lightening talks by members, engaged networking and inspiring speakers. We want to ensure every member walks away with fresh energy, strategic perspective, AND new ideas to implement immediately.

The community space is evolving rapidly as executives have started to see community as a strategic asset – and that is putting community teams are under a lot of pressure to deliver. In 2016 we explored the theme “Community Takes Center Stage” through sessions, group discussions, and hands-on training programs. In 2017 we’ll take that theme further with a focus on “Telling Your Community Story”.

The increased scrutiny on community programs requires community teams to have a crisp narrative, backed up with metrics that can show its business impact. For community professionals, that means learning how to translate what they know about community into the language of business. Because of that, this year’s TheCR Connect will focus on building a crisp community narrative, proving your community’s ROI, selling your community success, cultivating stakeholders, engaging executives and more!

You can learn more about this year’s event, and register here (and if you register soon you’ll save $150!) TheCR Connect is open to members of TheCR Network. I hope to see you there!
