TheCR Network Sneak Peek: May 2016

May 31, 2016 By Jim Storer

By Hillary Boucher, Community Manager at The Community Roundtable

TheCR Network logoWhat an exciting month! The release of the State of Community Management 2016 means lots of great conversations in the Network. Members get early access to all our research and I’ve been following along with half a dozen fascinated discussions over the last week!

Check what else has been going on inside TheCR Network this past month:

  • External Community Fundamentals (Training): After a successful conclusion of our initial internal community training inside the Network we decided to roll right into our second class – External Community Fundamentals. With 30 participants we’re seeing active discussion around the training videos and love seeing people share worksheets with each other. I’m so thrilled that we’ve decided to bundle complimentary training into each membership!

  • SOCM 2016 Cover with Shadow FinalState of Community Management 2016 Sneak Peek (Roundtable Call): As is tradition we give members a private call with our research team to learn about the research and ask questions. Members also get a special download a full day before the public. We’re hosting a number of member discussions around research insights and a workshop for members next month.
  • How To Create a Win-Win With Influencer Marketing (Roundtable Call): We were lucky enough to host Marshall Kirkpatrick of Little Bird in as a special guest to discuss the opportunity of relationship forward advocacy marketing. Marshall has a strong community perspective and is a great facilitator. Members rated this Roundtable call highly and we can’t wait to stay in touch with Marshall and his great ideas.
