The State of Community Management 2012

Lessons from Community and Social Business Leaders

The 2012 State of Community Management report examines the continued evolution of the social business industry and analyzes organizational patterns and lessons learned from industry leaders and practitioners.

This year we have learned enough to provide a more prescriptive view of the path organizations take as they operationalize a community approach and therefore structured the report by organizational maturity stage.  We lay out the artifacts, organizational patterns, initiatives, and resources we see organizations use as they move from those wobbly early days to a structured and methodical approach to real impact and then finally, to transformative business changes.

Thank you to our sponsors Protiviti, Ektron, Enterprise 2.0, Fleishman-Hillard and IBM.
