What are we looking for?
HiBob is looking for a creative VP of Community and Engagement to help us grow our cult following of modern HR and business leaders. Reporting directly to the CMO, this passionate, forward-thinking marketing leader will cultivate relationships, expand opportunities, and deepen connections between HiBob and the HR professionals and teams we serve. They will lead a diverse team of customer and community marketers, campaign managers, and field marketers in region to radically expand our current Community programming to create, nurture, and engage our global community of brand fans, maximize HiBob brand awareness, and drive pipeline impact with our programs.
Base salaries for this role range from $210,000-$280,000. Additionally this role has a variable compensation component.

Our pay bands are wide because great candidates come to us with a broad range of experience and skill sets. When making individual pay rate decisions, we take into account the candidate’s depth of experience, their qualifications relative to incumbent employees, and their location – among other factors.

- Proven track record of success in developing and executing both online and offline programs that attract, engage, educate, and delight prospects and customers, ultimately delivering pipeline generation and revenue back to the business
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and creatively, as well as the ability to transform ideas into reality, executing and effectively driving results
- Comfortable working in high-growth environments with a focus on customer acquisition and revenue performance
- Experience in transforming customer communities into public communities a plus
- Bias towards proactivity, assessing risk, capitalizing on opportunities, and averting problems before they arise or compound
- Strong presentation skills, with the ability to communicate ideas and implications to stakeholders who are not themselves subject matter experts
- Skilled in strategic planning, budget allocation, and budget management across global teams
- Relentlessly focused on team development, with a proven ability to build, grow, and mentor global teams, taking a hands-on approach to cultivating expertise, empowering functional leaders, and ensuring accountability
- Clear and effective communication style that encourages understanding and collaboration
What will you do?
- Establish a new function, Community and Engagement, that maximizes synergies between our Customer Marketing and Community teams, who have traditionally focused on engaging our existing customer base, and our Events and Regional marketing teams, which have traditionally focused on engaging prospects
- Design, implement, execute, measure, and refine online and offline strategies to reach and retain new audiences for, with, and on behalf of HiBob, positioning us as the go-to brand for HR and business leaders
- Set the tone for how modern businesses operate, educating the industry in how to leverage HR best practices to drive business performance
- Turn exciting, never-before-seen concepts into best-in-class productions, events, and online experiences that captivate, educate, engage, and recognize participants in what in means to be “people-first” as an organization
- Drive world-class execution excellence to increase mindshare, market, wallet share, and partner share in the region, creating differentiated buyer’s journeys that set us apart from our competitors
- Work closely with the sales, marketing, and customer success teams to align efforts and maximize pipeline impact
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators that measure the effectiveness of Community and Engagement initiatives, providing regular reporting, action plans, and insights to the executive team
- Identify opportunities for optimization, improvement, and return on investment, driving continuous growth and innovation
- Prepare and manage multi-million-dollar budgets and budget allocations across channels, programs, goals, and target segments
- Conduct market and customer research to identify opportunities and challenges
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders in marketing, including brand, digital marketing, partner marketing, and product marketing to ensure Community and Engagement efforts align to global marketing goals, deliver key messages to market, and complement activations across the funnel
- Coach team members to new heights of professional development, balancing day-to-day responsibilities with strategic growth opportunities
